PoE Ritual Changes 3.25 - Ritual Vessel PoE Ritual Splinter

PoE Ritual Changes 3.25

  • Corpses that you can use to Raise as Spectres can now be found as a reward in Ritual. These Corpses have been rebalanced to be appropriate for the core game compared to their debut in Affliction League.
  • The lowest-tier Ritual bases cannot be found in Maps, and the highest-tier can only be found in Maps with an Area Level of 83 or higher.
  • The Archdemon Crown Implicit modifier is now -2 to Level of Socketed Support Gems, and +2 to Level of Socketed Skill Gems, instead of "Socketed Skills apply Fire, Cold and Lightning Exposure on Hit" and -10% to all Elemental Resistances.
  • The Brimstone Treads Implicit modifier is now "50% increased Stun and Block Recovery, and "20% reduced Stun Threshold", replacing "+4-5% Chance to Block Attack Damage" and "You take 20% of Damage from Blocked Hits".
  • The Debilitation Gauntlets have been renamed to Thwarting Gauntlets. The Implicit modifier is now "+5-6% Chance to Block Attack Damage" and "You take 10% of Damage from Blocked Hits". This replaces the previous "Exerted Attacks deal 40-50% increased Damage" and "Warcry Skills have +2 Seconds to Cooldown".
  • The Dreamquest Slippers Implicit modifier is now 10% reduced Movement Speed, and 45-50% increased Cooldown Recovery Rate of Movement Skills (previously 30-40%).
  • The Sinistral Gloves have been renamed to Trapsetter Gloves. They no longer provide 25% reduced Attack Damage with Main Hand, and 40-50% increased Attack Damage with Off Hand as an Implicit modifier. Instead, they now provide 30% reduced Cooldown Recovery Rate for throwing Traps, and cause Trap Skills to have 20-25% increased Skill Effect Duration.
  • The Penitent Mask Implicit modifier now provides +4% to maximum Chaos Resistance instead of +2-3 to maximum Fortification.

1. Ritual Vessel guide

Ritual Vessel Ritual Vessel stores the monsters slain for the first time from a completed Ritual Altar for future use.

In the end game, you can obtain Ritual vessels, which allow you to itemise the monsters from a ritual. You can place up to four vessels in the map device alongside a map to add the monsters stored in those vessels to the rituals present in that map. This increases both the difficulty and rewards of the rituals as well as generating even more tribute to spend on rewards.

For example, because there's a chance of encountering a Headhunter or Mirror of Kalandra as rewards, using Ritual vessels increases the chances you'll be offered these items and allows you to afford them.

In addition, you can use these vessels to substantially increase monster density in maxed out maps that have mechanics like Beyond or Delirium present.

Using vessels, you have control over the risk and reward of your hardest Ritual encounters.

Vessels are tradeable both before and after they contain monsters.

2. How to use a Ritual Vessel

Using a Ritual Vessel Ritual Vessel at any completed Ritual Altar will turn it into a Blood-filled Vessel, capturing a record of all the monsters first slain at that Ritual. Blood-filled Vessels can be placed alongside any Map in the Map Device to imbue the Rituals in that area with the captured monsters.

6. Statistics

With all of that Tribute, Ritual Splinters have been purchased 26,184,083 times. This is the total number of purchases made, rather than the total count of Ritual Splinters purchased. An average area has ~3 Rituals, giving us 208,110,699 areas run. With this, we can see that players purchased Ritual Splinters every ~8 areas. Of the Ritual Vessels created from these splinters, 1,658,608 were used on Ritual Altars.

That means that, on average, a Ritual Vessel was used on a Ritual Altar once for every 125 areas run. Furthermore, 926,764 Blood-filled Vessels were used in the Map Device, or once for every 224 areas run. This is fairly infrequent and may be something that GGG would want to revisit in the future should Ritual make its way into the core game.

7.Ritual statistics

  • In total, 3,051,171,137 Ritual Splinters were offered as rewards (an average of 14.66 every area).
  • In total, Ritual Splinters were offered as rewards 198,587,563 times (an average of 1 every 1.05 areas).
