PoE Exalted Shard Recipe: Influenced full rare item sets vendor recipes

There are two vendor recipes for Exalted Shards in Path of Exile. Identified recipe: Sell a full set of identified rare items with the same influence (Shaper, Elder, or Conqueror) to a vendor for 2 Exalted Shards. Unidentified recipe: Sell a full set of unidentified rare items with the same influence to a vendor for 4 Exalted Shards.

A stack of 20 Exalted Shard becomes an   Exalted Orb. Completing the Exalted Shard recipe is a Path of Exile challenge.

PoE Exalted Shard Recipe Not Working?

In order to do this vendor recipe, all items must have the same Influence type. For example, all items are Elder influence items. If your Exalted shard vendor recipe not working, the main reason some items have different influence types. Check your items carefully, all the rare items must have the same influence type.

• Mixed Influence: Double-check all your items have the same influence (Shaper, Elder, or Conqueror). Mixing influences won't trigger the recipe.
• Item Type Mismatch: Ensure you have a full set - weapon, helmet, body armor, gloves, two rings, amulet, and boots.

How to farm Shaper Influence items or Elder Influence items

Recommendation: Farming Shaper or Elder Influence items to do Exalted Shard recipe. Shaper or Elder scarab increases the drop rate of related influence items by up to 150%. For completing the Exalted Shard vendor recipe challenge, this is the best method.

Recommend to use four Cartographer's Chisel to increase a normal map's quality to 20%, then use Orb of Alchemy for upgrading the white map to a rare map. Last, combine the map and Shaper Scarab to farm shaper influence items. In the following example, the item quantity has increased by 69%.

Also, Polished Shaper Scarab is one of the best choices. It increases the Rare Shaper Items by 60% and only costs 0.5 Chaos Orb.

1. Shaper Scarab(recommend)

Scarabs are a type of map fragment. They do not open portals to new areas, but are instead used to augment existing areas with various effects. It is recommended to use scarabs to increase the chance of obtaining influence items.

2. Shaper Incubator

Incubator is an item class similar to currency items which can be applied to a piece of equipment to guarantee an item drop of a specific type after the specified amount of monsters has been killed. Each equipment can incubate one item at a time, but note that incubators do not incubate on items in swap weapon slots.

4. Influenced maps

• Elder-influenced maps can be found in Maps or sold by Zana. The map item would have an implicit Area is influenced by The Elder.
• Shaper-influenced maps can be found in Maps or sold by Zana. The map item would have an implicit Area is influenced by The Shaper.

Influenced Item

Influenced items are special types of base items with an expanded pool of exclusive modifiers, they can be recognized by their graphical effects and icon on the sides of the name plate. Influenced items are primarily found in maps via certain bosses. Certain unique items are influenced as well.

Exalted Orb is one of the most valuable items and influcend items can be used to do Exalted Shard vendor recipe.

1. Crusader item

They can be recognized by their red glow and symbols next to the item’s name.

2. Hunter item

They can be recognized by their green glow and symbols next to the item’s name.

3. Redeemer item

They can be recognized by their blue glow and symbols next to the item’s name.

4. Warlord item

They can be recognized by their yellow glow and symbols next to the item’s name.

5. Shaper item

They can be recognized by their cosmic background and red star symbols next to the item’s name.
