Diablo 4 Champions

Elite enemies include Champions, Elites, Bosses, and Bloodmarked Players.

Champion monsters that appear in World Tier 3: Nightmare and World Tier 4: Torment have damage resistance auras which do not protect themselves. Focus on killing them first.

D4 Elites and Champions

Elites and Champions, staples in the Diablo franchise, will be in Diablo IV, with the latter only appearing in Nightmare (World Tier 3) difficulty and upwards. Some familiar elite affixes are returning with them — for example: Mortar, Frozen, and Waller. Enhancing affixes are a new category, which improves on a monster’s base powers. For instance, monsters with the Multishot affix might fire three projectiles instead of one, or resurrect three monsters instead of one.
