Torchlight: Infinite is a season-based game, with exclusive content for each season, which lasts a total of three months. After the season ends, character data is permanently retained and transferred to the permanent zone.
You are free to choose to go to the permanent zone to keep getting stronger, or go to a new season to experience a new challenge! The sudden outbreak of demonic agitation has created a raging “black tide “.Hunters, take action to find the lair of the tide master and stop his amazing plot.

New equipment crafting process – erosion crafting:
You can now access a new character in the sanctuary – Zenos the Lightless – to erode legendary equipment or rare equipment with at least 4 The new crafting process – Eroding:
now you can access the new character in the shelter – Zenos the Lightless – to erode legendary equipment or rare equipment with at least 4 affixes.Equipment consumes special materials when eroded,and can only be eroded once.Eroding will potentially result in:

Alienation: Replace the base affix of the equipment with a random Calamity base affix
Pride: Increase the rank of 1 equipment affix by 1 to 2 orders,and when the result exceeds T1,the affix is replaced with a special Calamity affix
Profanation: Increase the rank of 2 equipment affixes by 1 to 2 orders,and when the result exceeds T1,the 2 affixes are replaced with a special Calamity affix

New map play:
In plot and otherworldly maps, hunters will occasionally encounter hordes of Black Tide infected monsters that appear.When defeating the infested monsters, the hunter will absorb the monster ‘s infested energy. When the absorbed energy reaches its limit, the hunter can choose to release all of it, summoning several dangerous fey monsters and accumulating a random type of reward. The possible reward types are:
Weapons
Defensive Gear
Accessories
Compass
Build Materials
Memory Fluorescence

When the map is affected by the Black Tide, there is a chance that the map leader will also be infected. After defeating an infected map leader, you can generate an enabler (foreign demon leader) by releasing erosion energy. Defeating the demon will drop the season limited legendary and the Black Tide Edict.
By combining the Kuroshio Edict dropped by the demon, the hunter can challenge the season leader of both difficulties. Season leaders can drop powerful season limited legendary equipment and materials for advanced erosion building.

Dark Surge: Season-exclusive Gameplay

Defeat the Dark Surge-infected monster in the level to collect Corrosion Energy. Defeat the summoned Aemberons to get rich rewards.

When the map is affected by Dark Surge, there is a chance that the boss monster is infected. Defeat the corroded boss to earn exclusive rich rewards.
