Saw: You’ll need a saw to harvest acacia. You can craft one at the Carpenter in Sainte-Anne using 1 piece of metal salvage and 2 torn sails.
Location: Acacia trees can be found scattered throughout the in-game world. Look for their light trunks and bright green leaves. They often appear brighter than other surrounding trees.
Harvesting Process:
Sail your ship close to an acacia tree.
Look for the "Harvest Acacia" prompt to appear on your screen.
Click or press the button indicated by the prompt.
A mini-game will start. A white arrow will move across a bar on your screen.
Click or press the button again when the white arrow is within the green zone of the bar. This will successfully harvest the acacia.
Additional Tips:
Auto-harvest: You can enable auto-harvest in the game’s settings. This allows you to simply be near the acacia and press the harvest button, and the game will automatically perform the mini-game for you.
Respawn: Acacia trees respawn after a short period, so if you find a location with them already harvested, you can return later to gather more.
Locations: While acacia trees can be found throughout the world, here are some specific areas with high concentrations:
North-west of Sainte-Anne: Look for a group of islands with three acacia spots for harvesting.
Lagoon northeast of Sainte-Anne: Sail north from the port and then turn east to enter a small lagoon accessible to dhows. This location is close to Sainte-Anne and offers protection from larger ships while harvesting.
Alternative Sources: Keep an eye out for floating barrels and debris in the water, as they sometimes contain acacia wood.
