Note: Palia currently only supports Windows.
After signing-up and creating an account at palia.com, you will receive an email at the address that you provided during registration. The email will include download instructions for Palia’s launcher. The launcher will then become your one-stop destination for downloading, updating, and playing the game.
We recommend installing Palia to an SSD drive, and using at least the following PC hardware specifications: Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit or higher
Will Palia be available on Steam during the game’s Closed and Open Beta?
For now, Palia will only be available to play for players that register at palia.com, download the launcher, and use the launcher to install and play the game.
If I participate in Palia’s Closed and Open Beta, will my progress reset for the game’s official launch in the future?
The development team has no plans to wipe player progress following our Beta phase. Players who begin playing should maintain their account progress for the duration of Palia’s lifecycle.
I made a purchase with real money during an Alpha test, what happens to my items in Palia’s Beta?
All purchases made during Palia’s Alpha tests will be credited in Palia Coins with an additional 20% early purchase reward. Additionally, every purchase made during Palia’s Closed and Open Beta phases will remain as part of your account for Palia’s official launch and beyond.
Hit the Install button and let it install Palia.
Wait for the launcher to patch the game to the current version.
Hit Play and start playing Palia!
Make sure you're running the latest version of your Windows OS
To know if you have the latest version, just search "Windows Update" in your Start menu and there you will see if you are up to date.
When installing the game make sure to Run as Administrator
Once you have downloaded the game from the Palia website, right-click the installer and click "Run this program as an administrator", then click Apply and OK.
Turn off Windows Firewall temporarily
To disable Firewall for Windows 10, please follow the steps below:
Head to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security and then Firewall & network protection.
Switch the setting of Microsoft Defender Firewall to Off.
