D4 Immobilized

Immobilize (a.k.a. Root) is a form of Crowd Control, often viewed as the extreme variant of the Slow effect.

The general concept is completely stopping the target, forcing them to remain in one place, unable to move, but unlike Stun and Freeze, it does not affect the target’s ability to attack. Most of the time, Immobilize is used either by ranged attackers to prevent the enemy from coming into close combat, or by melee attackers to prevent enemy from escaping.

Bonus Damage vs Immobilized Enemies:

  • Increases damage dealt to Immobilized enemies.
  • After fully Staggering a Boss, they are considered affected by all Crowd Control types, including Immobilize, for the Staggered duration.

  • You have a base {#} chance to Immobilize enemies when you Critically Strike them.
  • This probability scales with the Skill used and your Lucky Hit Chance Bonus.

  • This probability scales with the Skill used and your Lucky Hit Chance Bonus.

Control Impaired Duration Reduction:

  • Reduces the duration of incoming Control Impairing Effects, excluding Knockback.
